| Dogwood Stables is a cozy family-friendly, Hunter/Jumper and Dressage Equestrian facility located outside of Jackson, TN in North Eastern Madison County. Our barn is dedicated to teaching Hunter/Jumper and Dressage riding disciplines. Our instructors have over 30 years combined experience in both showing and instructing. We offer a year-round instructional program encouraging our students to set goals for the year and achieve them through their lessons and showing. Students are not required to own their own horse. Horsemanship, safety, grooming, and care are incorporated into each lesson in order to create a safe-well rounded program for the rider. We teach a "secure seat" style of riding which encourages balance. This is learned and re-enforced in each lesson. As the student improves his or her balance, confidence is gained. While both private and group lessons are available, group lessons are kept small in order to insure that each student receives as much personal attention as possible. |
| Dogwood Stables maintains an open invitation to the staff, students, and parents of our sister barns to visit and observe which will hopefully promote a stronger horse community thru intra-barn camaraderie. |
